Afef have forged skills into general management and leadership to support Orange Group strategy towards modern technology and organizational transformation.
Empowered with 15 years’ carrier in telecom operators engineering, Afef managed Orange Labs Tunisia for nearly 6 years during which the lab strengthened its leadership on Orange Group projects. There, she led a transformation of the lab's organization, setting up a matrix operation between the joblines teams and the project teams that are now the DNA of the lab. Supported by a brilliant managerial team, Afef has also worked in anchoring the lab in the university fabric of engineering schools but also of Tunisian research laboratories, thus promoting innovation and active contribution to Research within the Group.
Today Afef is leading the Innovation Jobline strategy for Orange Group in France and international. Reporting to CIO Group, she is in charge of building the skillset required for the future of Innovation jobs for the Group teams, as well as the talent retention in order to prepare the skills of tomorrow.
A graduate of the Telecommunications School of Tunis, Afef has a rich technical career with private mobile operators. In 2009, she joined the Orange Tunisia subsidiary to lead the product and service engineering department from the launch of the operator, thus crowning about fifteen years of operational experience of telecom operators. In 2020, Afef obtained her MBA from Warwick Business School in the UK.
